What we do

Water Siphon is designed to help farmers, land managers and councils achieve better financial returns, reduce reliance on pumping stations, relieve financial pressure, and support sustainable environments throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.

Water Siphon achieves better land drainage than by conventional means alone, leading to improved productivity and financial returns. The siphon system can also complement environmental management systems including use of bioreactors and wetlands.

Here’s the proof that it really does work!

Although our Water Siphon system is patent(s) pending technology, the idea of siphoning in itself is certainly not new. Take this example of an enormous industrial siphon installed in the USA in 1939 – Its real, and it’s still working.

How we partner with farmers and land managers

Design

Our initial visits to the farm enable us to see first-hand the chosen farming practices and assess the typography of the area. These insights along with understanding the water challenges experienced, enable us to discuss and decipher the best solution and working design.

Build

With the agreed design, pre-fabrication of the customised siphon system gets underway.

Install

With the soil works and piping completed, installation of Water Siphon is progressed. From here we undertake commissioning and training to support the success of the product on the farm.

Maintenance

A regular service cycle is established to ensure the continued excellence and maintenance of Water Siphon, as well as providing opportunity for re-assessing support needs.
